'Knitted' Silk Scarf - River Slate

A stunning collection of 'knitted' illusion scarves, for when you want to have the beauty of knitted colours and texture but without the weight of wool. Each design is knitted by hand using rich combinations of over thirty shades per scarf. It is then transferred using state-of-the-art printing techniques on to beautiful silk lengths.

These scarves draw the eye and tempt the hand to touch - and leave the mind surprised at the 'trompe-l'oeil' effect. Wool, but not. Knitted, but not.

The River Slate silk scarf uses colours reminiscent of the bed of a gently flowing sparkling river to create a flowing design that complements beautifully a multitude of outfits, both formal and casual. The blues, turquoises and greys of the design are interleaved within the pattern to produce a fluid movement of shades across the length and width of the silk fabric.
